Running late or need to cancel? How to handle it kindly
What to do when plans change: cancelling on Saloonly, when to call instead, and why a few minutes’ notice matters so much to a salon.

Everyone runs late or has to cancel sometimes. What matters to a salon is knowing, because an empty chair they did not expect is time they cannot sell to anyone else.
If you need to cancel
Cancel as soon as you know. On Saloonly, open My bookings and tap Cancel; the time goes straight back into the salon’s diary for someone else to book. Each salon sets how close to the appointment you can still cancel online. Past that, call the salon.
If you are running late
Call the salon. Ten minutes late for a forty-five-minute service can mean a shorter service, or waiting for the next gap, because the next customer is already booked. A quick call lets them plan, and often saves your appointment.
If you want a different time
Cancel the booking you have, then book the new time while you are there. Doing it in that order means the old time is free for someone else straight away.
If you cannot make a product collection
Orders placed on Saloonly can be cancelled until the salon marks them ready. After that, call the salon to arrange another time to collect and pay.
Good to know: Your bookings stay on the device you booked on. Add your email in My bookings to see and cancel them from any device.
