Your privacy on Saloonly: what salons see, and how to delete it
What you share when you book, which salon sees it, what stays on your phone, and how to delete your details yourself in a couple of taps.

Booking a haircut should not mean handing over your life story. Saloonly asks for as little as it can and is plain about where it goes. This is the short version; the privacy policy has the full one.
What you give when you book
A name and a mobile number. That is all a salon needs to hold a time for you. You can add a note to a booking, such as an allergy or a reference photo you will bring, and the note goes to the salon with it.
An email is optional. You only give one if you want to see your bookings on any device, and it is used to send you a one-time sign-in code. There are no passwords.
Which salons see your details
Your phone number is shared only with the salons you book or order from. A salon sees your name, number, email if you added one, and what you booked or ordered from it. It never sees your bookings at other salons.
Once you book, you become part of that salon’s own records, just as if you had phoned them. That is how the salon can call you if something changes, and recognise you next time.
What stays on your phone
“Near me” uses your location only when you ask for it, to sort salons by distance. Your position is sent with the search so the nearest salons come back first, but it is not stored and is not linked to you.
Saloonly shows no ads, uses no tracking cookies, and never sells your details.
Deleting your details
You can do this yourself, any time:
- On the website, open My bookings › Profile.
- In the app, open Me.
- Choose Delete my details, or Delete account if you signed in with an email.
Your name, phone, email and saved salons are erased from Saloonly straight away, and a signed-in account is signed out on every device.
Good to know: Cancel any upcoming bookings first. Bookings you have made stay in each salon’s own records, so a salon still expects you unless you cancel.
What a salon keeps
A booking or order is also the salon’s business record, so it stays with the salon under its own rules even after you delete your Saloonly details. If you want a salon to remove what it holds about you, ask that salon directly.
